I've been a full-time VO for many years, working from my professional home studio voicing ads and corporate video for some of the worlds biggest brands. My beginnings were very different! I started washing hair in Catford Shopping centre at the age of 14 which taught me about working for myself. I then became a PA at an accountancy firm which was not meant to be as I kept forgetting to book my boss's meetings in the diary! Luckily I was forgiven for being a rubbish PA, but it helped me realise that I was destined for something more creative and should follow my passion into the arts and media.
I landed a role in Radio Production and was lucky enough to work at London's top radio stations, including Capital FM and Heart. This experience was handy for voiceover, as it means I have decent editing skills and a Producers ear for sound, which definitely helps my work!
I then took my turn in front of the mic and presented a breakfast show for Heart, which led to where I am today, working as a full-time voice actor. I work from my home studio and enjoy the creativity - no script is the same and I aim to make each one my own, giving it that extra little something to help it come alive. I've taken acting classes at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and also belong to an improvisation group which keeps me on top of my game and indulges my passion for acting.
I offer lightening fast turnaround times and editing services upon request, so get in touch for an informal chat about your needs. I look forward to hearing from you!
